Why someone might want to sell their property management company.
Why would you ever want to sell your property management company? I was talking to someone the other day who was considering selling their company, and their decision boiled down to this: They could regularly make more money after selling their company.
This is obviously a great reason to sell, but it doesn't stop there. You also make money from the sale itself. Plus, if you don’t have a succession plan in place, it’s probably a good idea to sell sooner rather than later. This can hurt the long-term value of your company, but if you sell now, you can still get out when the value is high.
