So how often should you service your home’s water softener? I recommend servicing it once a year, and there are four things that will happen during this service.
First, your service expert will check whether any maintenance is needed. Then, they’ll clean the brine tank and everything else. After that, they’ll perform a water assessment, which is very important. Finally, they’ll check the settings to ensure everything looks right.
