I’m sharing six home technologies that can make your life easier and safer.
These days we can have some exciting technology in our homes. If you don’t have these, you may want to consider them. These technologies can make your life easier and safer.
1. Amazon Echo Family. I love the Amazon Echo. I couldn’t live without Alexa! You can ask it questions and order things you need. I’m sure other, similar systems are fine, but I personally think the Amazon Echo Family is the best.
2. Smart plugs. Controlled by an app, you can use smart plugs to turn appliances on and off when you want. This works with any appliance that plugs into a wall socket: lamps, TVs, cable boxes, coffee makers, you name it. This also works with light bulbs that can dim to any brightness.

3. Sonos speakers. If you haven’t looked into these speakers yet, you should. You don’t need wires anymore. You can put the speakers throughout the house, they work wonderfully, and I highly recommend them.
4. Electronic lawnmower. I just bought a home and I’m thinking about getting one of these myself. A friend of mine has one, and it basically works like a large Roomba but for your lawn. It cuts your grass for you, then puts itself away when it’s done.
5. Surveillance system. I recommend looking into a surveillance system. With technology and cameras advancing so much, surveillance systems aren’t as expensive as they once were. The quality is excellent, so protect yourself.
6. Automated locks. Another way to keep yourself safe, you can control access to your home with your phone.
